Welcome to the Holistic Menopause Method! Do you feel like you are on a roller coaster of emotions since hitting menopause? During weeks 1-3, we will begin shifting your perspective, address your mindset, and block and set yourself up on a foundation to honor your needs. You’ll create a morning mindset and self-care ritual to begin your day. I’ll share with you positive affirmations that resonate with you. You’ll learn techniques you can incorporate into your day that will help you to “go with the flow,” turning the emotional roller coaster into a sustainable ebb and flow. Life gets messy, and challenges arise, but you’ll learn the techniques to move through with grace and resilience.
How do you feel about exercise? Weeks 4-6, we will explore the physical symptoms of menopause and how physical activity affects these symptoms. In this module, you’ll create habits that support your hormone fluctuations. You’ll learn that nutrition and movement are essential to feeling good physically, emotionally, and mentally. You will generate fitness goals specific to your wants and needs. We will discover different types of exercise to keep you motivated and to see results. We will discuss diet, create a list of healthy foods to incorporate into your diet, how to stock your pantry, and the foods to avoid.
Do you have brain fog? Memory issues? Insomnia? During weeks 7-9, we will shift your routines to give you a better cadence throughout your day. Through journal prompts and brain dumps, we will discover areas that trigger stress or anxiety and address them to release them. We will dive a little deeper into a diet to support your brain function. We’ll look at your sleep schedule and develop a routine to give you the kind of sleep you need to feel rested and tools to help you fall asleep faster. Together we will create a wind-down routine that will leave you feeling pampered and ready for sleep. I’ll help you shift your mindset to make relaxation a priority.
In weeks 10-12, we will embody the milestones you’ve reached and empowerment techniques to improve your self-worth, confidence, and attractiveness. Together we will discover ways to define your style, build your self-esteem, and help you find balance and bliss in your life. We’ll reflect on where you are, how you’re feeling, and review the habits and routines you’ve established.
I’ve been there. I lived a hectic life:
I fell into the “busy is better” trap. On top of managing life, menopause was hitting hard. I began experiencing hot flashes, insomnia, and heart palpitations. I would be in the middle of a conversation and lose my train of thought. My speech faltered. I was miserable. The symptoms increased my anxiety. I felt my body was failing me. The tools I’d used the first half of my life weren’t working. Something had to give. Tired. Wired. Depleted. I didn’t recognize myself. I was irritated and unhappy. Something had to change. I had to change.
I studied how mindset affects our life, how specific movements affect our hormones and the power of our breath. My physical and emotional menopause symptoms decreased. My body was responding. I felt better. Anxiety decreased; I obtained restful sleep. I gained flexibility and muscle definition.
I improved my diet. I cut back on caffeine, processed foods, and sugar. My menopause symptoms diminished. My life shifted. I let go of the activities I found unfulfilling. I added in the things that made me feel better. Life became easier to manage. Peace. Love. Joy entered in. The ups and downs became a rhythmic ebb and flow.
What does this mean? I’m doing something right. And that’s how the Holistic Method Menopause Method was born. Through years of working on my mind, body, and soul, teaching yoga and counseling others, I’ve pinpointed the system that improves women’s menopause symptoms, shifts their anxiety, and replenishes their stressed, overwhelmed minds and bodies.
